Question 1

What sources does BidVigil watch?

Accepted Answer

Dodge Construction, PlanetBids, ConstructConnect, PlanHub-style private networks and city, county and state purchasing portals. Optional pulls from Surety2000 or NAV SurePath keep your bonding line live in the same reconciliation pass.

Question 2

How is the win-probability score computed?

Accepted Answer

A transparent weighted aggregate of trade match (CSI codes), geographic reach, bonding capacity, current backlog fit and prior incumbent overlap. Every weight is visible in the breakdown, and every scored bid ships with the four or five alignments or risks that drove the number.

Question 3

Which bid boards are in scope for the pilot?

Accepted Answer

Public municipal and K-12 postings (Dodge, PlanetBids, city purchasing portals, ConstructConnect) plus the largest PlanHub-style private networks. Pilot firms pick the three to five boards that match their actual bid runway; we do not turn on coverage you will not use.

Question 4

How does the bonding line feed the score?

Accepted Answer

Bonding capacity is a hard signal, not a soft one. BidVigil pulls the live single-job and aggregate line from Surety2000 or NAV SurePath at scoring time and any posting that would push you past the available line is downgraded before the PM ever sees it.

Question 5

What are the three pricing tiers?

Accepted Answer

Pilot — single firm, single region, three to five boards, full scored feed. Crew — multi-region firms with shared bonding lines and up to three PM seats. Portfolio — multi-firm GCs and developer owners running BidVigil across sister companies under a single supervisor view. Custom enterprise quotes are available above that.

Question 6

How do I request pilot access?

Accepted Answer

Use the contact form on the home page or email bidvigil@polsia.app. Share your firm, primary contact, trades, geography and current backlog; pilot seats are limited per quarter so we come back with a scored feed inside two weeks.

Question 7

How long does integration take for a new firm?

Accepted Answer

Two weeks from signed pilot agreement to first scored feed. Week one is watchlist tuning — prequalifications, CSI trades, geographic radius, bonding line pull. Week two is shadow scoring on last quarter, then the agent goes live against the watchlist you configured.

Question 8

How is our data kept secure?

Accepted Answer

BidVigil is multi-tenant by firm. Your watchlist, CSI codes, backlog signals and scored feed are isolated behind a per-firm boundary; bonding line pulls read-only and never persist the surety credential. All transit is TLS, scoring runs in a private job, and we ship a quarterly security summary on request.

Question 9

Can our team override a recommended score?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the PM sign-off is the gate, not the agent. Every recommendation arrives with a go/no-bid memo and the breakdown behind the number; the PM can mark it Override and capture the reason, and the override feeds back into next quarter weighting.
