Pilot cohort — Q3 onboarding

Always-on bid intelligence with addenda-aware go / no-go scoring.

BidVigil watches municipal and private construction bid boards around the clock — from Dodge and PlanetBids to city purchasing portals and PlanHub-style private networks. Every new RFP is parsed, reconciled against your prequalifications, CSI trades, geography, backlog and live bonding line, then scored with a transparent win-probability and a bid / no-bid memo the PM can sign off by sunrise.

Tell us your watchlist. We'll come back with a scored feed.

One cohort per quarter so the agent learns each watchlist properly. Share your firm, primary contact and a short note on trades, geography and current backlog — we'll reply with a scored feed inside two weeks.

Pilot seats are limited and weighted toward firms with active CSI coverage gaps in the regions we're watching.

How it works

From a posting on a server at 2am to a memo on a PM's desk at sunrise.

The same five-step pipeline runs on every posting that lands while your team is asleep. Nothing is stage-managed — these are the actual stages the agent reasons through.

  1. 0101 / 05

    Watch

Crawls Dodge, PlanetBids, ConstructConnect, PlanHub-style private networks and city purchasing portals on a continuous clock.

  2. 0202 / 05

    Parse

Pulls every posting, addendum and drawing revision into the same structured record — including superseded revisions that change the original scope.

  3. 0303 / 05

    Reconcile

Filters against your watchlist: prequalifications, CSI trades, geographic reach, current backlog and your live bonding line.

  4. 0404 / 05

    Score

A transparent win-probability rating with the four or five alignments or risks behind it — no black box, signed off by the PM by sunrise.

  5. 0505 / 05

    Package

Auto-assembles the prequal packet, ITB response and required Section 9 forms so teams arrive review-ready, not assembly-ready.

The failure incumbents miss

A v2 drawing set that quietly blows up the original scope.

Most bid boards still treat each posting as a single document. When a GC uploads Rev 02 of A-301two days before the question deadline, the first version is still “live” in the index. A human reading the second version in a hurry prices the first — and the team shows up to a job that changed underneath them.

BidVigil reasons explicitly over the addenda chain and the drawing-revision graph. Every superseded revision is flagged, the diff is summarized, and any posting whose scope moved materially between revisions is marked Review —never Go—until the PM signs off.

What incumbents show
Silent drift
  • A-301 Rev 01 — original layout, 1,840 SF breakroom
  • A-301 Rev 02 — appears as a new file, not a revision of the first
  • Pricing pulled from Rev 01 · scope defaults to Rev 01
What BidVigil catches
Flagged · Review
  • Addendum 2 supersedes A-301 · breakroom grew to 2,940 SF (+60%)
  • CSI 09 67 23 bumped to Class A · affects finish allowance
  • Score downgraded 78 → 64 · PM sign-off required before bid
Coverage

Every posting, reconciled against the watchlist that matters.

Sources are continuous and on a clock; your watchlist is the filter. Both are yours to tune — BidVigil doesn't decide which trades, geographies or agencies you chase, it just refuses to let anything past them unscored.

Signals reconciled per posting

  • Prequalifications

Each certificate pinned against the posting requirements.

  • CSI trade codes

Hard filter, with secondary overlaps surfaced.

  • Geographic reach

Distance + drive-time from the yard, not just county.

  • Current backlog

Capacity in the bid window — soft-kill if full.

  • Live bonding line

Pulls from Surety2000 or NAV SurePath on demand.

  • Incumbent overlap

Prior wins pulled into the score, weighted down.

Transparent scoring

The score is the breakdown, not the verdict.

If a PM can't read the number top-to-bottom in thirty seconds, the number is wrong. Every alignment, every risk and every weight is visible in the same view.
